We trace our roots back to 1992 in Bakersfield, California, where we began as part of Chemex, Inc., a company that had been manufacturing and installing refineries since 1978.
During the 1990s, demand for refineries surged worldwide, and our team successfully completed 32 refinery projects — ranging from process procurement to full refinery design and construction.

Since 2006, we have operated independently and expanded our capabilities by acquiring D&R Industry Manufacturing. This acquisition significantly enhanced our engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC/EPCM) offerings for both modular and conventional construction.
Today, LeMar has emerged as a premier engineering, procurement, fabrication, and project management firm, specializing in both modular and conventional refinery and energy projects — in both renewable and traditional resource sectors.
